All should work fine if you follow the instructions to read on the Instructions and Rules of Conduct file downloadable from the webtesting platform: https://bocconiwebtesting.giuntipsy.com/
Here are some suggestions to prevent Internet connection issues:
- Carry out the test during Italian office hours, possibly by 17 p.m., to avoid bandwidth slowdowns and receive technical support
- Prevent others from being connected to the Internet (including via smart devices, such as Smart TVs)
- Stay as close as possible to the router transmitting the Wi-Fi signal
- If possible, connect to the Internet via Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi
Here is a summary on how to start your test on your test day:
- Log in to your personal webtesting area and follow all the suggested steps
- Enter the test platform
- Click the link to your current attempt (e.g. First, Second…)
- Click the "Start" button and follow the guided procedure to check that the ProctorExam will work properly on your devices.
- Update the page and click the "Start" button (Start your exam) and follow the guided identification procedure and the video recording of the environment (at this stage the test will not yet start)
- Access the test instructions page by clicking HERE on the ProctorExam tab.
- Read the instructions and then click "Launch Safe Exam Browser"
Please note: If SEB will not start within 30 seconds, please check that you have installed SEB on your computer after the download - If you are asked to do so, terminate the listed application by clicking “Yes” (Windows) / “Force quit all applications” (macOS)
- Enter your credentials again *
- Click "Start attempt" and then confirm clicking "Start attempt now"
* once you are in the SEB environment, you cannot copy-paste!
Make sure to write down on paper or print out your credentials.
