WINDOWS SYSTEM:
Firstly, please close all the open applications on your computer, especially those that might use the microphone: on the bottom bar the icon of an open application is distinguished by a hyphen.
Reboot your computer making sure that no application is automatically reopened.
If your computer got one, check that the webcam switch on the edge of the screen is not closed.

MAC SYSTEM:
Firstly, please close all the open applications on your computer, especially those that might use the microphone: on the bottom bar the icon of an open application is distinguished by a dot.
- Go to the Apple Menu
- Choose System Preferences
- Click Security or Security & Privacy
- Click Privacy tab and Microphone in the lefthand column, then tick the box next to Google Chrome.
Deactivate all the other apps in this setting.
You have to unlock the lock at the bottom left of the settings window to apply the changes.
Reboot your computer making sure that no application is automatically reopened.
